Inside Scoop is our annual event where formerly incarcerated supporters, activists, administrators and the community come together to raise funds to support the Pollen Initiative. This event is a core way we raise funds to support this important initiative.

More about the Pollen Initiative
Who we are
We are one of the first organizations to actively champion and build media centers in prisons across the US. Led by dedicated team members and volunteers, we provide the incarcerated with tools and platforms to tell their stories, build professional skills, and highlight the real impact of public policy on their lives and communities.
What we do
The Pollen Initiative facilitates scalable multimedia training models and programs such as a journalism guild, a filmmaking and broadcasting program and a professional writers’ pitch and workshops that can be replicated at other prisons around the country.
A night of fun & education at the Mill Valley Community Center
October 9th, 6-9 PM
The community center is located a short drive from either the Richmond Bridge or the Golden Gate Bridge into Southern Marin County. We will have:
