About the Project
This year, as Jersey Cares remembers the leadership of The Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., we invite you to join 550 volunteers to uphold Dr. King's vision of bringing people of all ages and backgrounds together, strengthening their communities and building a stronger New Jersey.
We're working together to answer "life's most persistant and urgent question...what are you doing for others?"
We have a goal of $19,300 - $10 for every year since MLK was born
This registration page is for the Virtual Chopped Challenge only!
All volunteers must be at least 14 years old.
Project:
- Virtual Chopped Challenge: Volunteers will participate in a Hunger Simulation Icebreaker to understand the difficulties of feeding a family on a limited budget and create custom recipes for economically disadvantaged families using food commonly found in inner city convenience and grocery stores. Registration for volunteering is FREE!
