Practicing with Scenarios
Have you completed our "Talking About Race" training and are eager to take the next step?
Do you want to gain more strategies to discuss race and racism with the children under your care?
Do you want to practice with racial equity tools to disrupt racism in real-time?
The Center for Racial Justice in Education invites you to join us in a follow-up training using guided scenarios and roleplay to practice strategies to address issues of race and racism in your schools and organizations.
If you are a school-based teacher or leader or a youth-serving nonprofit educator or leader who has completed our initial flagship training, "Talking About Race," and are ready for a deeper dive into practical applications, this training is for you.
Through this live and interactive half-day training, participants will:
Participants will be asked to contribute scenarios or instances of racism that their school or community has experienced over the past year in advance, so that we can prepare and tailor the training to be most relevant to the group.
Registration is capped at 35 participants. If you would like to invite more than four colleagues to join you, please note that we customize trainings for individual schools and organizations. Please fill out our training inquiry form to learn more.
