SEE YOU THERE!
McAlister Institute invites you to the 13th Annual Walk for Sobriety on Saturday, September 27th at NTC Park in Liberty Station (2455 Cushing Road, San Diego, CA 92106). Join us in a celebration that brings help and hope to thousands of individuals and families impacted by addiction. Please click HERE to get all the event-day details.
All proceeds from the Walk for Sobriety benefit McAlister Institute, one of San Diego's leading resources for substance abuse treatment and recovery programs. Our goal is to save lives by ensuring affordable, quality treatment for every individual and family who comes to us for help. Your tax-deductible donation helps bring these life-saving services to those who cannot otherwise afford them.
WAYS YOU CAN HELP
PARTICIPATE: Click the "Register" button. Create or join a Team and help fundraise for McAlister Institute. With your registration fee, you get a shirt to wear at the walk/run.
CELEBRATE: Download this sign and share what you or someone you love celebrates, whether it's the number of days you've been clean and sober, someone you support in recovery, or something that inspires your gratitude! Join the conversation by sharing a photo of you with your sign(s) using the hashtag #walkforsobriety.
DONATE: If you're here to support one of our amazing Walk fundraisers, please make sure to visit their page to make a tax-deductible donation to help them reach their fundraising goal! If you prefer, you can complete this form and send it back to us with their name/team on the "in support of" line. We'll let your fundraiser know about your donation and update his/her page with your generous contribution!
SPONSOR: Looking to get involved in a BIG way? Download our Sponsorship Packet HERE or email WalkforSobriety@McAlisterInc.org to learn more about becoming a sponsor.
INFORM: Please share our event page on your social media accounts and encourage others to share it as well! Download our event flyer to handout to anyone who might benefit or celebrate with us! The more people who are aware of the walk, the more funds we are able to raise, and the more help we are able to provide.
VOLUNTEER: Helping hands are always appreciated. To donate your time or talent, please complete our Volunteer Form by clicking HERE.
McAlister would like to thank everyone for getting involved and joining us in the fight against addiction. We want as many people as possible to attend the event, and will not turn away anyone who wants to attend.
