Celebrate Pride Outside at the Willamette Confluence!

Join McKenzie River Trust for a peaceful evening stroll where the Coast Fork and Middle Fork of the Willamette Rivers come together. This special event welcomes our LGBTQIA2S+ friends and neighbors to connect with nature—and each other—as we explore the beauty of the floodplain at dusk.

Guided by Sarah Merkle and Holly McRae, the evening offers two unique experiences: Sarah will lead a golden-hour bird walk for those eager to spot local wildlife. At the same time, Holly will give a short presentation about beavers. As the sun sets, we’ll gather quietly by an active beaver lodge, hoping to glimpse these incredible nocturnal creatures in their natural habitat.

A portable restroom is available near the parking area. For accessibility questions, please reach out to Holly McRae at 541-735-5222.

Unwind, explore, and experience the magic of nature at twilight!

The Willamette Confluence is located on Kalapuya Ilihi, the homeplace of the Kalapuya peoples who stewarded these lands and rivers before us.
