Join us for a full day of pickleball events with professional pickleball player Irina Tereschenko along with other local professional players and celebrities.  Participate in one of the pickleball events, or attend as a spectator!

We will have two raffles at the event with prizes donated from local sports teams and pickleball companies. 

ABOUT THE COALITION

The King County Play Equity Coalition is a network of organizations dedicated to challenging and changing systems to shift power and center physical activity as a key part of health and youth development.  Our vision is a King County where all youth, particularly youth from historically underserved groups, experience the transformative benefits of play, sports, outdoor recreation and physical activity.

All kids deserve to experience the joy and benefits of being active through sports and the outdoors. The King County Play Equity Coalition works towards systems-level solutions to close play equity gaps for youth of color, girls, and youth with disabilities, among others, who are disproportionately excluded from programs and places to play.

The Coalition is fundraising to strengthen our ability to make sports, play, and outdoor recreation the inclusive and transformative space it can be for all youth. 

Funds raised at this event will go towards

- stipends for the youth on the Youth Action Team

- stipends for BIPOC-led organizations to be active in the Coalition

- capacity building so community-based organizations can offer high quality programming to more youth
