Through local investments, we advance groundbreaking cancer research and profoundly support people affected by the disease to create outsized impact in Southern California and beyond.
Since our inception in 1996, we have participated in over two hundred clinical trials in Southern California, with thousands of patients that have resulted in the approval of 15 new cancer drugs and the expansion of treatment options for cancer patients all over the world. We have given $11 million in research grants awarded in Southern California in the last decade alone. Over $4.4 million in 54 grants to young investigators since 2006 resulting in $60 million in additional funding for these researchers.
Our programs and funding are designed to maximize impact beyond the initial investment— so they not only benefit researchers, patients and families today, they have the potential to lead to even greater impact tomorrow, transforming lives anywhere.

When you participate in the Power of Tower Walk/Run, the money you raise supports collaborative, cutting-edge research focused on improving the lives of people impacted by cancer.
Power Walkers and Runners
Registered participants will receive a Power of Tower Walk/Run bundle, which includes a limited-edition t-shirt and a social media toolkit to help you share your experience with the Power of Tower community online. Together we will reach our fundraising goal of $250,000 in support of innovative, ground-breaking cancer research and patient support programs.
