Rappel for Research is a one-of-a-kind event where guests rappel, Over the Edge, approximately 150 feet down the side of the iconic Westin St. Francis. Rappellers will enjoy iconic views of San Francisco's Union Square and a life-changing rush of purpose and adrenaline. This exciting event always attracts media coverage and generates awareness in the community.
Anyone who wants to rappel can set up a custom online fundraising page. Raise a minimum of $1,000 for The Aneurysm and AVM Foundation to secure a place on the ropes. Every dollar raised supports brain aneurysm and AVM research.

- No age restriction
- Weight minimum: 100 lbs
- Weight maximum: 300 lbs
Accessibility accommodations are available; you can rappel in a wheelchair, and yes, you can wear an approved costume. (We're looking at you Lou Seal!)
