"Twenty years ago, Emilio and I watched the Boston Marathon from our window at Children’s Hospital during a father-to-son bone marrow transplant that was our last hope for his survival. That day I promised him that I would run that marathon. In 2003, I fulfilled that promise and since then, I have run many more marathons and long-distance runs. In 2018, I took on the biggest challenge so far and ran 1,700 miles from Seattle to San Diego, raising much needed funds and creating awareness for ENF."

This epic run was captured by Executive Producers, Sholom & Lynn Ellenberg, making it into a short documentary called Running With Emilio. This beautiful and inspirational film has participated and won several film festivals awards around the world, including the Brooklyn International Short Awards, the Big Apple Film Festival in New York, Santa Monica Film Awards, Seattle Filmmaker Awards, Austin International Art Festival. Just last month it took first place in the Docuworld Film Festival in London.
