Albuquerque Empty Bowls to benefit the Storehouse New Mexico
Empty Bowls is a grassroots initiative by artists and craftspeople around the world. In Albuquerque, local potters provide hand-crafted bowls which are filled with soup at this fundraiser, which helps fight hunger in our community.
The Storehouse New Mexico, the largest food pantry in the Albuquerque area, is honored to be the recipient organization again in 2024. All proceeds help the Storehouse provide free groceries to people in need in New Mexico, from infants to seniors.
Attendees will receive a beautiful handmade ceramic bowl and lunch.
Handmade bowls created by Albuquerque potters and clay artists. Lunch will be provided by area restaurants.
The Storehouse served 55,000 people last year, right here in New Mexico. Currently 1 in every 5 children in the state is going hungry. Together, we can make a difference.
