The Possibility Project presents
What Do They Know
Wednesday, May 8th at 7:30pm
The Riverside Theatre | 91 Claremont Avenue, NYC
Raven is nearing the end of high school and struggling to finish. Ms. Abara is a guidance counselor whose job it is to get Raven to graduation. The two meet and tensions soon grow as the pair confront the state of the world and witness their school’s young people grappling with being rejected, the meaning of love, abuse at home, and the death of a loved one. Will Ms. Abara reach Raven? Will Raven find a way to complete their studies and move on from high school? Or will the forces shaping their life prove to be too much?
The Possibility Project is proud to present What Do They Know, an original musical drama written and performed by a diverse group of youth from across NYC. For the past seven months, our young people have gathered every Saturday to discuss, debate, act, dance, and sing about the most serious issues they face in their lives. Soon, all of their hard work will be put on stage at The Riverside Theatre, 91 Claremont Avenue in Morningside Heights.
