Become a Friend of MoCADA
Becoming a Friend of MoCADA is an opportunity to partner with the museum to build a sustainable, community-funded and community-serving space. More than a museum membership program, Friends of MoCADA believe in and stand by the museum’s mission to be a platform for the creation and interpretation of Black arts, culture and imagination. MoCADA is more than a museum: MoCADA is you.
To become a Friend of MoCADA today, sign up to give monthly at any level. Not able to enroll today? Gift a one-time donation. By pledging your support, you will be instrumental in funding arts education in public schools, four diverse exhibitions each year, free public programs throughout Brooklyn and the diaspora, collaborative programs with black-owned businesses, and art making workshops for Brooklyn’s children, teens and adults. If you are not able to donate today, create a profile by clicking the "Become a Fundraiser" button and ask your network to donate to MoCADA.
As our gift to you, when you pledge to support monthly or give a one-time donation of $100 or more, you’ll receive free admission to the museum and events, 15% off in the MoCADA Shop, and invitations to VIP exhibition previews. Most importantly, you’ll be at the forefront of building a fundraising model that empowers communities to create and sustain organizations that are important.

The Museum of Contemporary African Diasporan Arts (MoCADA) uses the visual arts as a point of departure for exploring new artistic production across a variety of disciplines. Through exhibitions and programming, MoCADA incites dialogue on pressing social and political issues facing the African Diaspora, and fosters a dynamic space for the creation and continuous evolution of culture.
