The Museum of Contemporary African Diasporan Arts (MoCADA) is much more than a museum. It is community. It is a small organization with a huge impact. From programming in public schools and public housing, to apprenticeships for high school students, and opportunities for local, black-owned businesses and artisans, MoCADA continues to place community engagement and social justice at the center of its mission to explore and promote artistic production from across the African Diaspora.

The current climate has many of us developing and adopting strategies to end the injustice and violence systemically inflicted on black bodies, minds, spirits and livelihoods. As we do so, let's not forget the contribution of artists, arts educators and arts institutions. These voices tell our stories, breathe new life into old narratives, and propel us forward in our individual and collective actions.

Please consider supporting MoCADA so that it may continue to foster engaged, informed, active communities.

Your commitment is truly appreciated. Have a wonderful day.
