As we approach the holiday season and the end of the year, many of you are thinking about your year end giving. For our high school Dreamers, this is an exciting time of applying for colleges, filling out financial aid forms, and working hard to finish out their senior years and get ready for college. This is the culmination of over 10 years of hard work

Dreamer Marlen Ramirez started as a Freshman at University of Northern Colorado this fall. She spoke with us this past spring about the importance of a having a College Savings Account (CSA) and how it will help her succeed at college.

"Having a college savings account can really benefit me while being in college. While having a college savings account I can save money and be able to use it for books or even on campus student activities. A lot of the times students who don’t have a savings account have a hard time managing their money, having a savings account will help me save money and learn how to manage it,” says Marlen.

“I Have a Dream” Boulder County is working to empower kids like Marlen to save for college. We provide savings matches to encourage Dreamers to keep saving for their higher education — and the lessons that students learn by saving serve them well even after they graduate.

Will you join us?

Today only, make a donation to encourage student savers and the 1:1 Fund will double your gift for their College Savings Accounts, up to $500! That means twice as many Dreamers will have the opportunity to start saving to reach their college dreams.

Thank you for your continued support!
