The conflict in Syria has fueled the worst humanitarian crisis of our time. Half of all Syrians have been forced to flee from a brutal civil war. They have lost their homes and communities, and many children have been out of school for years, leaving them especially vulnerable. Syrians are being pushed to edge of human need.
We need your help like never before.
We have more than 25 years of experience working in the very places where people hurt the most right now – from Aleppo to Damascus in Syria and with refugees all over Jordan, bringing vital humanitarian services to those who desperately need them.
In the current crisis inside Syria, a network of 1,800 staff and volunteers supply food, medicine, water/sanitation, and shelter for 375,000 internally displaced persons. Our team also provide psychosocial counseling, protection care for the most vulnerable, and education for out-of-school children. We provide refuge and critical care for children and families in over 100 locations across Syria.
In Jordan, we continue to grow our mentoring and alternative education programs in the Za'atari Refugee Camp and in 117 community sites across the country. We also initiated a project in southern Jordan to provide integrated support in food, medicine, and education for refugee children and families.
We work alongside truly heroic Syrians and Jordanians – regular people who have risen to the challenge to help their neighbors – to reach the most vulnerable communities. These efforts desperately need your support.
