Thanks for visiting my fundraising page!

Please help me support GBS|CIDP Foundation International by making a donation through my page. The process is fast, easy and secure. Thanks so much for your support... and please dont forget to send this page to any friends you think might be interested in donating!.

In May 2014 I stumbled into my doctor's office and told her that there was something wrong with me because I kept stumbling and dropping things. Within 15 minutes she correctly diagnosed me as having Guillain-Barré syndrome and told me to rush to hospital.

I came home from the hospital hundred and 35 days later because I was able to transfer between a bed and a wheelchair with the help of only one person.. Now it's three years later and I intend to finish my 20th New York City Marathon..

It used to take me four or five hours to finish a marathon and this year it will probably take me 10 or 12 hours.

Please donate here so that other people get diagnosed as quickly and accurately as I was. The GBS – CIDP foundation will use the money you donate to educate doctors on how to diagnose this rare disease. A quick and accurate diagnosis can save needless suffering or even someone's life.

I paid my own entry fee into the New York City Marathon. Every penny you donate will go to the GBS CIDP foundation.
