Making a real difference? Yes. And Here’s Why.

A case for a project I believe in, in honest plain words.

I like learning new things. I really like learning.
In my life, I have been lucky enough to receive top-notch education, which I believe has empowered me, and set me free.

In January 2013, I am off to Tanzania to help St. Timothy’s build its nursery school. This will positively impact the lives of at least 300 kids, their families and the whole community. I know I would be a very different person if poverty had taken away the chance for me to get educated. With this project, I want to give those kids a chance to thrive. And I want to give back.

My grad studies in Oxford and my experience at the United Nations have convinced me that a healthy approach to development is possible. Not one based on pity and aid, but on potential and self-sufficiency. And I believe that Mama Hope is doing it, with its transparent and successful records.

I believe that a drop in the ocean does matter, even if it will make the life of one single person better. I hope you do too.

Be bold with your contribution. This is our drop.
