Earlier this year, I met with a group of incredible women in South Africa being helped by a non profit program called Mosaic. It’s a self-sustainable orphan facility for more than 80 children that have lost their families to the AIDS epidemic. These women battle poverty, illness and social stigma in order to provide care and hope for kids in a dire situation.

As a mother and a global citizen, I am compelled to help them. And as an entrepreneur, I understand that the best way to do that is to reach out to my friends, family and colleagues and work together.

I’m partnering with the management of Mosaic South Africa to raise money for phase two of the primary school in the village of Ikageng started last year with your generous support. The school serves not only the children of Mosaic, but the greater township – providing dedicated teachers and a proven, achievable curriculum that meets the standards of international schools.

Please help in any way that you can. Education is one of the most powerful ways to change lives, and together we have the means to potentially change a nation. Our goal is to raise $250,000 ASAP to expand our school and staff to serve 350 students.  What started as mere dream last year is now real, thriving and growing. It needs our help to reach its fullest potential, graduating these children into meaningful careers and as change agents for their country.

Mosaic is a US nonprofit 501 c3, so your contribution is tax deductible.
