Julie is a realtor on the Shoreline. Representing sellers and buyers in the home buying process has been her honor and passion for the past eight years. She understands the value of home ownership firsthand and is thrilled to be able to do something to support Habitat for Humanity through this event.

Julie has lived in Madison for 25 years. She and her husband, Kevin, have raised three children and have recently become "empty nesters". Before being able to ask the question "What next?" an invitation to participate in Raise the Roof's Gala of Stars: Dancing for the Cause was presented to Julie. Having watched her three children sing and dance in the award-winning Daniel Hand High School show choir, Vibe, for the past several years, she was intimidated by the request to give dancing a try herself. Hundreds of hours of rehearsal go into a show choir season! She's wondering what ten lessons will do for her ... yikes! But dancing, or some semblance of it, to help put a roof over a family? Julie couldn't help but say, "I'm in!"

Sean Patrick Fowler is a life-long Connecticut resident who is best known in the community for his photography and event announcing. His body of work is seen daily in The Hartford Courant, Courant.com, and CTNow.com.  He has also been a guest on the Chaz & AJ Morning Show, sharing his stories from both photography and years of skydiving as ’Sean The Shark'.

His passion to fundraising for Raise The Roof was strongly influenced by his work in real estate foreclosure photography:

“Seeing the result of a family losing their place to live is heart-breaking, and as the photographer, I’m only a spectator to the aftermath. But if there’s one thing I’ve learned from being part of the skydiving community, it’s that ordinary people can do extraordinary things. It’s my hope that being in this event and fundraising will lead to that point where a family gets a home because ordinary people around them made a choice to do something extraordinary.”
