Dear friends and family,

I am excited to be singing with the Sing for America Chorus this year. Sing for America (SFA) is a not-for-profit organization focused on supporting the performing arts. Much like how other organizations use walk-a-thons or bake sales to raise funds, SFA helps people raise funds through singing. Last year, the SFA Chorus raised over $125,000.

2013 SFA Chorus ConcertUnlike other organizations, SFA allows their members to direct where their contributions go.  I'll be raising money to help support Sentinels of Freedom Scholarship Foundation, a fantastic nonprofit whose mission is to assist severely wounded and injured post 9/11 veterans in their effort to become productive and self-sufficient members of their communities. Their goal for these veterans is successful completion of higher education, finding meaningful career-focused employment and gaining financial independence. You can learn more about the amazing work of the SOF at the following website: www.sentinelsoffreedom.org. Their motto,"Veterans Never Stop Serving", emphasizes the fact that we owe our veterans a great amount of gratitude and they deserve our help when they return home.

Over a 10-week period, I'll be rehearsing to perform in a big concert to be held on April 9, 2017.  In addition to the SFA Chorus we have several amazing guest artists including R&B and pop star Niki Harris, renowned vocalist, Billy Valentine, and the versatile and accomplished New York based soprano, Marnie Breckenridge. Join over 130 singers and instrumentalists for a night of fabulous music as the SFA Chorus presents That 70’s Show, conducted by Brett Strader.

Please help me support Sentinels of Freedom and the Sing for America Foundation by making a tax-deductible donation using the DONATE button at the top of this page.  The process is fast, easy, and secure.

You may also buy tickets for the April 9 concert by following this link.  Make sure you enter my Coupon Code [SFA082] for a $10 discount.

Please help me reach my goal by sharing this page on Facebook and Twitter. Or, even better, send an e-mail to friends you think might be interested in contributing and include a link to this page.
