Dear friends and family,

I am excited to be singing again with the Sing for America Chorus.  Sing for America (SFA) is a not-for-profit organization that helps people raise funds through singing. Unlike other organizations, SFA allows their members to direct where their contributions go.

My charity this year, the Harmony Project Bay Area, (formerly known as the Music Team), changes the lives of children by putting music education back in the schools with an intensive after school music education program. The students come from low-income families who have no other access to quality arts education.

Last year, the monies we raised through my participation in the annual Sing for America fundraising concert helped the Harmony Project Bay Area to grow and to add a new class of 21 third graders who are studying violin, cello, and chorus in the after school music program.

Additionally, students getting the Harmony Project Bay Area education have increased their math and reading scores 5-10% through this positive and transformative program.

The Harmony Project Bay Area has very low administrative costs so that 80% of all donations they receive go directly to providing the students with full scholarships for instruments and instruction. All donations are fully tax deductible, and the process is fast, easy and secure.

One patron commented: "Wow! I went to a concert by the students enrolled in this project and was thrilled by their performance and the joy with which they played. In talking to the parents, they were overjoyed by the progress their children had made both musically and scholastically."

As you can see, your help really will make a difference in the lives of these children!

The big Sing for America concert will be on Sunday, April 9, 2017, at 7:00pm in the Palace of Fine Arts Theater.

This year's show will celebrate the 70s--the 1770s, 1870s, and 1970s.  We'll feature wonderful range of music from Mozart to Bizet to Gilbert & Sullivan to Sondheim to Queen.

Please help me support my charity the Harmony Project Bay Area and the Sing for America Foundation by making a tax-deductible donation.

You can donate and/or buy tickets for the Sunday, April 9 concert for $45 by following this link. Make sure you enter my Coupon Code [SFA061] for a $10 discount per ticket!
