Hello Friends and Colleagues,

I am truly excited to be performing once again with the Sing for America Foundation (SFA). We are ardently preparing for our 2017 Benefit Choral Concert, Sunday evening, April 9, at San Francisco's stunning Palace of Fine Arts.

Sing for Americaa Bay Area non-profit, raises funds for a myriad of worthy organizations, in the areas of education, the performing arts, health care, and other worthy causes—ALL WITH A UNIQUE TWIST !

Each of our 80 chorus members selects the worthy recipient of their chosing. Monies raised go directly to the organization(s). You can imagine tthe diversity of groups benefiting from our efforts—and your funding. Simply put, we donate our voices and time; you donate dollars! :-)  Last year we raised close to $125,000!

This year, I will be raising money for Stagebridge.  Stagebridge, based in Oakland,  is the nation’s oldest and most renowned theatre company of older adults.

Founded in 1978, Stagebridge transforms the lives of older adults and their communities through the performing arts. The organization accomplishes this with award-winning Creative Aging programs, offering opportunities for lifelong learning and participation in the performing arts. It's unique position as a theatre company “for and of” older adults, demonstrates in action the many ways in which elders enrich our culture and our communities. Stagebridge offers professionally-taught classes for adults over 50 in its Performing Arts Training Institute, as well as storytelling programs in Bay Area public schools in its Storybridge program.

During the past two months, we've been rehearsing for our major concert on April 9, 2017.  This year's show will celebrate the '70s--the 1770s, 1870s, and 1970s.  We'll feature music from Mozart to Bizet to Gilbert & Sullivan to Sondheim to Queen. An eighteenth century Cantata to Broadway to The Muppets. All this and special guests Nikki Harris and Jessie Bradman. Now that's a lineup you don't want to miss!

Please help me support Stagebridge and the Sing for America Foundation by making a tax-deductible donation. The process is fast, easy, and secure. Be sure to enter my Coupon Code [SFA068]
