Dear friends and family,

You'd think after 3 years the Sing for America Chorus would kick me out! Well, I'm back. Too many songs yet to sing. Just look at Tony Bennett!

You might remember that Sing for America (SFA) is a non-profit organization that helps people raise contributions through singing. Last year, our SFA Chorus raised over $170,000!

2013 SFA Chorus ConcertWe've been rehearsing since late January for our one-and-only concert on Sunday, April 9, 2017

This year's show will celebrate the '70s--the 1770s, 1870s, and 1970s.  We'll feature a wide range of music including Mozart, Gilbert & Sullivan, Sondheim, Chorus Line, Queen and Steven Tyler - and even pieces from The Rocky Horror Picture Show and Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory. Now that's a crazy lineup! Oh, and we'll have some guest artists, too.

Unlike most fundraising organizations, SFA allows its members to direct where their contributions go. Once again, I'm raising money for the Center for Domestic Peace. Their primary mission is to provide safety and empowerment for those subject to domestic violence, through emergency shelter for women (and their children), a 24/7 hotline, transitional housing, support groups, legal advocacy, and programs for both men and women who seek to end the violence in their relationships.
