Dear friends and family,

I have been singing for many years, but this year I'm doing something different: raising money for a great cause. Sing for America (SFA) is a not-for-profit organization that helps people raise funds through singing. Last year, the SFA Chorus raised over $125,000. This is Team in Training for singers (please don't ask me to run a marathon).

2013 SFA Chorus ConcertOver a 10-week period, I'll be rehearsing to perform in a big concert to be held in San Francisco on April 9, 2017

I invite you to support Generation Citizen, an organization that empowers middle and high schoolers to participate in our democracy through education. Kids in public schools in the Bay Area and across the country learn about how government works and choose local action projects to make a difference. This process creates engaged, educated citizens with the motivation to vote, serve on juries, and shape their communities. We need more of this. Learn more at http://generationcitizen.org/

If I reach my $2,500 goal, it will sponsor an entire classroom curriculum and action project. Each $100 sponsors one child's participation.

You can support me in two ways:

1) Make a tax-deductible donation to Sing for America (click link above).

2) Attend our show on April 9 - click this link. Make sure you enter my Coupon Code SFA050 for a $10 discount.

If you're really motivated, you can do both.

Thank you for your generosity!
