Dear friends and family,

My message is simple. EVERYONE BENEFITS FROM MUSIC. In a time when funding for the Arts is being cut, I want to help support the music program at Journey High School, a small private school that provides specialized instruction and theraputic services to students with a wide range of emotional needs.

In my own life, singing with my chorus has been joyous, but also theraputic. As you rehearse or perform, you forget all your troubles and get absorbed in the moment. What better therapy can you find for adolecents.

Journey High School has 60 students and EVERYONE is in the Music Program. My son-in-law, Dominic Schaner, runs the music program. The teens are involved in guitar, hand drumming, and music ensemble. They are encouraged to compose their own music. They perform three concerts a year, and offer their opinions on current topics during interviews on their teacher's local radio show. Talk about encouraging confidence and self worth!

I am asking you to support me in raising funds for this music program. I am excited to be singing with the Sing for America Chorus this year.  Sing for America (SFA) is a not-for-profit organization that helps people raise funds through singing. Last year, the SFA Chorus raised over $125,000.

2013 SFA Chorus Concert Our big concert will be held on April 9, 2017. This year's show will celebrate the 70s--the 1770s, 1870s, and 1970s.  We'll feature wonderful range of music from Mozart to Bizet to Gilbert & Sullivan to Sondheim to Queen.  Now that's a lineup you don't see every day! Any one for Chorus Line?

Please help me support my charity and the Sing for America Foundation by making a tax-deductible donation above.  The process is fast, easy, and secure.

You may also buy tickets for the April 9 concert by following this link to the box office. Make sure you enter my Coupon Code [SFA042] for a $10 discount, or buy tickets directly from me.

Even if you can't make a donation or buy tickets, please help me reach my goal by sharing this page on Facebook and Twitter. Or, even better, send an e-mail to friends you think might be interested in contributing and include a link to this page.

Thanks so much for your generosity!
