Welcome to my fundraising page!

For those of you who don't' know me well, my mother passed when I was a little girl. With her passing at such a young age, it did not afford me the opportunity to get to know her as well as I could of. So I had to rely on others who knew how vivacious, kind, loving, energetic, driven, passionate, and breathtaking she was.

Two of the people, who helped me learn who she was were my Aunt Kim and my Aunt Dorothy, both similar to her in  many ways. Without their help, support and love I would not know the woman who gave me life and loved me with all of her heart. My aunts know the battle with cancer all to well, they fought with all they had my Aunt Kim survived however my Aunt Dorothy did not.  When I think of these brave courageous women, I remember this quote from Anais Nin, “Life shrinks or expands in proportion with ONE’s courage.”

On June 12, I will be stand-up paddle boarding 21 miles on the Colorado River to raise money in honor of my aunts for a cause that is so close to my heart! So I paddle to honor them and their fight against a disease that takes too many lives to soon in life. So many people are affected by one cancer diagnosis, and I want to help provide access to mental health support for those in need.

Help me support The Flatwater Foundation by making a donation. Your donation will provide access to mental health care for individuals and families touched by a cancer diagnosis that would otherwise not be able to get the care they need. I am working to raise at least $2,000 to embark on this 21-mile journey to take a stand; won't you please consider sponsoring one of my 21 miles with a donation? This will ensure we meet our goal, and will help so many in need.

The process is fast, easy, and secure. I truly appreciate any support you can provide, and we hope you can celebrate with us all on June 12, at the LCRA Lawn at Tom Miller Dam (adjacent to Hula Hut). Learn more at tylersdtc.com

If you can’t make a donation at this point, help me reach my goal by sharing this page on Facebook and Twitter. Or, even better, send an e-mail to friends you think might be interested in contributing and include a link to my page!

Thanks so much for your generosity!
