Welcome to our Planeterra fund raising page where AARYA VILLAGE TRAVEL'S perpetual commitment towards sustainable tourism development continues.

The catastrophic COVID – 19 pandemic devastated global tourism industry along with millions of livelihoods it once sustained. As an approach to soften the aftermath effect, we are aligned with an international nonprofit organization Planeterra to elevate community-based tourism enterprise in Nepal and around the world.

“Our effort is to ensure tourism revenue stays within the host community it is built on.” – Managing director Sarala Sapkota. 

We believe tourism works as a catalyst for sustainable economic growth, empowerment of local community and conservation of environment for both developed and developing countries. Within this notion, Planeterra since 2003 has been implementing a wide range of project focusing on capacity building of host community through Global Community Tourism Network.
