My wife Bobbye and I have been a residents of Rancho Penasquitos for 30 years and have been associated with the Rancho Family YMCA for 27 years. Starting with participation in Indian Guides (now Adventure Guides) and Trail Blazers with my son Brian, and 22 years on the board, I have contributed and/or raised funds for the YMCA Annual Campaign since 1995. Many of my long time donors were in Indian Guides or Trailblazers with us. 

All funds contributed to the YMCA Annual Campaign remain in the Rancho Family YMCA area and are used to support financial assistance for members of our community who cannot afford to participate in YMCA programs or membership. Funds are also used to support development of new or existing programs that benefit the local community. The need for financial support has grown over the years and is as important as ever given the current economic climate.
