Housing Works is a healing community of folx living with and affected by HIV/ AIDS and homelessness.  Their mission is to end homelessness & AIDS through Relentless Advocacy, Lifesaving Services and Social Enterprise Businesses that provide funding for this mission. 

Housing Works helps individuals in the community find agency over their lives, gives them the tools to become more productive, and creates a safer and move inclusive world through their local and national legislative efforts .

As an Occupational Therapist, a cornerstone of MY life is helping folx find agency in their daily living and be as productive as possible given any circumstance.  As a human being, a cornerstone of my belief system is that everyone is entitled to a dignified life, health, a home, and the safety to live as they choose.  Housing Works is the perfect match for my "giving goals", and I have been honored to volunteer with them for close to 20 years. 

Please help me as I embark on another journey with Housing Works in this years Breaking AIDS Ride. Though I gave up riding the 300 miles long ago, I still " work it out"  in favor of driving big trucks, lifting large objects, and for the past few years, making sure that everyone made it to and from NYC safely as the Medical Director.  [Please keep your fingers crossed that my skills are not needed this year!]
