As the son of a career soldier and public school teacher, serving others was instilled in me at an early age. I made the leap to serve my country while in high school by enlisting in the Army National Guard. I currently serve the citizens of our state as a regional representative in the Office of U.S. Senator Thom Tillis. I am committed to making my county a better place by serving on the Johnston County Economic Development Advisory Board and in various local civic groups. 

Running for office has been a longtime aspiration in my public service journey. The North Carolina Institute of Political Leadership is giving me the tools I need to be successful in running for office and how to effectively govern.
