This year, I am participating in the 2025 Bank of America Chicago Marathon as part of the Recovery on Water (ROW) Charity Race Team because I believe in the power of rowing to transform lives. Having been involved in rowing for years, I have experienced firsthand how this sport builds strength, resilience, and most importantly, a deep sense of community. Over the past year, I’ve had the honor of working with ROW as a coach, witnessing the strength and resilience of the women who make up this incredible team.

ROW empowers women who have faced a breast cancer diagnosis to respond with courage, hope, and determination—choosing to reclaim their strength as part of a team rather than letting cancer define or limit them. Now, I’m supporting them not just as a coach, but as a fundraiser, and I invite you to do the same.
