Brain Injury Summit Course Descripton
The 2017 BIAK Brain Injury Summit will provide attendees with the most current, evidence-based information that will equip them to be effective providers of services to persons with an acquired brain injury. These courses will teach current best practices and will be taught by experts in their respective area of study. Each course is designed to equip the professional and help them to: effectively address changes to the ABI Medicaid Waivers, enable survivors to build healthy personal relationships, manage the challenges of aging for a person with a brain injury, comprehend how vision therapy can assist in effective neuro-rehabilitation, assist cilivilians to work effectively with Veterans who acquired a brain injury in combat, and understanding and addressing challenging behaviors.
