2016 Power Plane Pull
The Power Plane Pull is all about brute strength and team work. Fifteen person teams with lots of heart will pull a 300 ton jet a distance of 20 feet. The FASTEST team to pull the jet the distance wins bragging rights.
Each registered team member will receive lunch, a Special Olympics t-shirt, and admittance to the Moffett Field Family Day Festival which is taking place at the same time. The festival includes children activities, a rock climbing wall, music, and other family activities.
Guests who want to come and cheer you on must purcahse a Moffett Field Family Day Festival ticket to gain entrance to the Power Plane Pull area. Tickets are $20 each. Guest lunch tickets can also be purchased for $10 each. Please click here to order tickets. Guest lunch tickets must be purchased online and will not be for sale on the day of the event.
This event is open to any group of individuals including law enforcement, corporations, airport employees, fire departments, civic groups, military schools and the general public.
Registration Fees - There are a few options
- Pay the flat team registration fee of $1,500 with a secure online credit card payment.
- Pay the flat team registration fee of $1,500 with a check payable to Special Olympics by clicking here to print out the offline donation form and mailing in your payment.
- Register as a 15 person team and collectively raise the $1,500 to participate. (That's only $100 per person!)
- Register as an individual, join a team and fundraise.
8:00 a.m. - Registration open
9:15 a.m. - Opening Ceremonies
9:30 a.m. - Special Presentation by a Special Olympics athlete
9:45 a.m.- Pull Begins
11:30 a.m. - Awards
12 noon - Lunch and enjoy the Moffett Airfield Family Day Festivities
