Inspire Nashville honors and celebrates our community and the individuals who give their heart and soul to make it what it is. There are few places that capture the heart, open up the soul, and inspire growth and change like Nashville. This energy and culture is made possible by the tireless efforts of those who make an impact daily by giving back to their communities and inspiring those in need. We set out to honor those silent heroes who serve on your boards, help at your soup kitchens and make our world a better place with the annual Inspiration Award honoring inspiring service to the community.
This year the 2017 Inspiration Award will be presented to TroyTomlinson, President/CEO Sony ATV Music Publishing Nashville. Troy is the Chairman of the Tennessee Entertainment Commission and a member of the CMA Board of Directors. He serves on the board for the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum and Country Music Foundation. He is a member of Belmont University’s Board of Trustees, as well as, the Board of Governors for the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, Nashville Chapter.
Troy and his wife, Sylvia, started the Troy & Sylvia Tomlinson Scholarship Endowment for "Bridges to Belmont." "Bridges" provides full four-year scholarships for qualifying students. Troy and Sylvia Tomlinson also support the following charitable organizations: Abe’s Garden, St. Thomas Midtown’s NICU, The Next Door, Porter's Call, The Hope Clinic, Young Life and End Slavery Tennessee.
All proceeds from Inspire Nashville will benefit The Onsite Foundation who provides scholarships to participants who would not otherwise have the opportunity to experience the life-changing programs at Onsite Workshops.
