We're returning to the International Medical Equipment Collaborative (IMEC) to celebrate Calling All Crows' Eighth Annual Benefit Weekend for a morning of service in support of Forced to Flee. IMEC’s mission is to transform impoverished communities around the world by providing equipment solutions for health care, agriculture, and education projects in developing countries. IMEC works in collaboration with other humanitarian organizations, governments, faith-based groups and individuals and has transformed communities in over 80 developing countries since 1995.
The project will involve preparing, organizing, and packing equipment to be sent to areas of need. The service project will begin at 9:30AM and end at 1:00PM. We'll have breakfast snacks on site when you arrive for orientation and registration.
Please note that IMEC requires volunteers to be at least 16 years of age. Calling All Crows has been approved to host a small project on site for children 16 and under. This project will be supervised by CAC staff and volunteer coordinators. All participants for this project must have permission from a parent/guardian--if you will not have a parent/guardian on site, please email Shayna to get a permission slip signed in advance. There is a separate ticket option for participants under 16.
ONLINE REGISTRATION CLOSES AT 9AM ON FRIDAY, IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO JOIN US PLEASE REGISTER ON SITE SATURDAY MORNING.
Volunteers should wear comfortable clothes and closed toe shoes. We suggest bringing a reusable water bottle too!
Space for Calling All Crows' service projects is limited and a $10 non-refundable donation is requested to help offset the cost of service supplies and reserve your spot at the project. Additional donations help to support Calling All Crows' mission of partnering with musicians and fans to create change through hands-on service and activism specifically focused on women's rights.
Thanks for powering this grassroots movement!
