Please join us on October 27, 2013 for Wheel to Survive, a 6 hour indoor cycling fundraiser to benefit The Clearity Foundation hosted by The Sporting Club. Funds raised will help The Clearity Foundation, a 501 (c)3 non-profit, support women battling ovarian cancer today by providing personalized information to individualize treatment decisions. By providing tumor blueprints to patients, Clearity is bringing the future of cancer treatment to women who need help today.
Women with ovarian cancer need your help today. Ovarian cancer is the most lethal gynecological cancer affecting 1 in 70 women. Today more than 70% of ovarian cancer patients will die of their disease, compared to less than 20% of breast cancer patients. When ovarian cancer is detected and treated early, the five year survival rate is greater than 92%. Sadly though, symptoms are vague and subtle, so most patients are diagnosed at later stages and less than 50% will survive longer than 5 years after their diagnosis.
IT IS TIME TO CHANGE THESE STATISTICS FOR OUR MOTHERS, DAUGHTERS, SISTERS AND GIRLFRIENDS AND BE THE DIFFERENCE IN THE FIGHT AGAINST OVARIAN CANCER TODAY!
That is why we need your help to raise money and awareness. The Wheel to Survive indoor cycling event will be from 9AM to 3PM on Sunday, October 27, 2013 at The Sporting Club. To participate, registration fees are $40 for the 6 hour event. You can ride as an individual rider for the entire event or form a relay team. Individual riders have a minimum fundraising amount of $500 and team riders have a minimum fundraising requirement of $250 for each rider on the team. Training rides are included with your registration.
We hope you will join us for this inspirational and important event on Sunday, October 27, 2013 and together we will BE THE DIFFERENCE in the fight against ovarian cancer. The time is now.
