Changing lives through challenge and discovery!
Join us for a night of celebration in the historic Presidio of San Francisco as we share decades of memories, success, impact, and growth.
Outward Bound ran its first challenging wilderness expedition in the High Sierra in 1983. Since that time, thousands of students have hiked over granite peaks, pushed their limits, and learned to lead with compassion. In 2008, as part of a national movement to open up access and work within communities traditionally excluded from outdoor programming, the Bay Area Center opened its doors, launching in public schools throughout San Francisco.
Since these early days, Outward Bound California has grown to serve over 50 school and non-profit partners, provide nearly 11,000 days of programming and serve over 2,000 students per year on our courses. The impact is far reaching and we have our broad community of supporters, staff, and friends to thank for sustaining this legacy.
As we continue to grow and look ahead, we welcome you to join us to look back at our founders, instructors, and students that built this organization and carry out this important work today. Let’s celebrate the decades of authentic challenge and lives changed in the same way we gather on course: Circle Up!
Join us for an evening of cocktails, seated dinner, and awards.
