The 2017 Night of Writing Dangerously
Join us for an unforgettable night of literary abandon!
Write the night away with NaNoWriMo staff and participants at this high-velocity noveling gala! Imagine a cross between a raucous dinner party and a fiction-writing factory and you've got the idea. Pack up your laptop, and come out to be wined, dined, and treated to seven hours of noveling bliss.

The top fundraisers at the event will receive grand prizes, but everyone who attends will go home with a special Write-a-thon bag packed with treats. Dinner is included, and guests are treated to free custom cocktails (Tequila Mockingbirds! Cosmonoveltons!), beer, wine, and soft drinks. We'll also be giving away heaps of special writing rewards, and offering free Author Portraits all night long.

Tickets are $300 for one person or $425 if you want to bring a guest. We only have 225 spots, and they fill up fast, so keep an eye on the Write-a-thon page on the NaNoWriMo site and on this page for updates on how much space remains. You can set up a fundraising page and have your friends and family sponsor your Write-a-thon attendance. We're a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, so all sponsorships and ticket purchases are tax-deductible!

All proceeds from the Night of Writing Dangerously go directly toward funding National Novel Writing Month and the NaNoWriMo Young Writers Program. These free, nonprofit programs bring the life-changing adventure of creative writing to over 380,000 adults and 80,000 kids and teens around the world every November.

Once you've registered as a Night of Writing Dangerously fundraiser, you can log in to your Classy account to customize your personal donation page, send winsome fundraising emails to friends and family, promote your page on social networks, and see how much you've raised.
When you reach the target ($300 for one ticket or $425 to bring a guest), fill out the RSVP form to ensure your spot at the event. But don't stop there! Every additional $50 you raise gets you another ticket for the raffle prizes, and the top fundraisers will receive one of our fabulous grand prizes. RSVPs must be in by November 16, or when the ballroom sells out, whichever comes first!
