George Mark Children’s House serves families with children and young adults who have a serious, often life-limiting medical illness, and who seek family-centered medical care that emphasizes quality of life in a compassionate, supportive atmosphere. We bridge the gap between hospital and home, offering safe, excellent medical care in the comfort and warmth of a home-like setting.
George Mark is the first freestanding pediatric palliative care center to open in the United States, and is a leader in the pediatric palliative care movement. Since we opened our doors in March of 2004, we have served more than 3,000 children, parents and siblings.
We hope that you can join us on Saturday, October 7th to help raise funds to provide state-of-the- art medical care and family-centered support services to our seriously ill children. The Celebration features live and silent auctions, a gourmet dinner, inspirational stories, and entertainment. The event also introduces new friends to George Mark, so they too can make a difference in the lives of the families and children we serve.
