Children with Diabetes is non-profit organization that supports families and individuals living with type 1 diabetes through their weekly newsletter, website, and their world-renowned ‘Friends for Life’ conferences. Their flagship event, Friends for Life Orlando, is the world’s largest patient-facing conference in type 1 diabetes and takes place each July at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. 

CWD is committed to empowering individuals and families by helping them to navigate the journey of diabetes with confidence and resilience.Funds raised through this event will help fund CWD’s Friends for Life conferences, including the conference scholarship program. For every person who registers to attend Friends for Life, CWD must find $400 in additional funding to make up the difference in the cost of attendance. Additionally, Children with Diabetes spends upwards of $150,000 annually to bring families on scholarship to the event.
