Position Description

We are on a search for a full-time Digital Marketing Lead who is a seasoned digital marketing rockstar. As the developing expert on the digital marketing team, you’ll be responsible for managing and developing Classy’s digital marketing efforts and contribute to supporting the future growth of the company’s digital marketing revenue requirements. This role will report to the Digital Marketing Manager.

Your main goal? Identify scalable opportunities, develop growth strategies, and deliver top of the funnel traffic while optimizing against yield. You will often be required to communicate our progress through data, charts/analysis and oral presentations. This critical role will help with the execution and implementation of our digital strategy and will be responsible for overseeing and reporting on specific digital marketing campaigns from end-to-end including paid social and retargeting campaigns.

 

Your Day-to-Day

We're a fast-paced, agile and rapidly growing start-up. In other words, you will wear a lot of hats and need to remain flexible. Still interested? Great, then you’ll want to know the things you’ll likely be responsible for include:

  • Support in the day-to-day digital planning and execution of paid campaigns across web, social, search, print, display and email marketing
  • Implement digital marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and lead acquisition through paid initiatives.
  • Deliver digital campaigns in full and against desired success metrics
  • Identify new paid traffic strategies while optimizing existing ones
  • Implement A/B testing creative strategies
  • Develop and manage Classy’s paid marketing campaigns working alongside the Digital Associate
  • Work with design and strategy to develop ad campaigns for paid efforts to drive new leads  to Classy
  • Support the Digital Marketing Manager in the management of and development of updates to our website, SEO efforts, paid efforts, display efforts, and all emails
  • Develop and strategize new content designed specifically for digital channels
  • Design test plans and implement tests and optimization efforts to maximize digital campaigns, drive new leads, and meet ROI metrics
  • Create and update dashboards and develop a reports to distribute on a regular cadence to the marketing and Classy leadership teams using data to develop informed strategic recommendations and insights
  • Build and manage digital metrics and ROI measurements: create dashboard, report on results, and regularly provide recommendations for improvements and optimizations
  • Create, curate and distribute both content created for general marketing needs as well as any digital specific content
  • Monitor industry trends to keep the company at the forefront of developments in digital marketing

 

What You Must Bring to the Table:

The Digital Marketing Lead has a strong digital background to draw from and help bring a focused digital marketing expertise to the marketing team. Specific skills and qualifications may include:

  • Bachelor’s degree (in Marketing or related field preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing or 5+ years of marketing experience with campaign management background
  • Experience with the following: social media advertising, SEO/SEM, display advertising, retargeting, mobile marketing
  • Strong content marketing background with a solid understanding of leveraging digital channels to serve as content distribution channels
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools, Google Analytics preferred
  • Strong in Microsoft Excel (ability to create formulas and know how to use pivot table)
  • Hubspot and Salesforce experience a plus

Position description:

We are looking for a dynamic, high performing Enterprise Account Executive with experience specifically selling technology products and/or services into the non-profit industry. Classy is hiring for our first Enterprise Solutions Architect within our newly created Professional Services organization that will help drive innovative solutions for our nonprofit clients and be a huge player as we build out this organization.

Your responsibilities:

  • Serve as an Enterprise Solutions Architect through the entire customer engagement pre-sale through implementation
  • Support sales in the evaluation of prospects, reviewing technical requirements, developing RFP’s, Statement of Work and supporting technical sales calls
  • Understand and translate client requirements into standard solution offering, leveraging standard process methods and deliverables
  • Design the system architecture and integration approach, identifying gaps between current and desired end-states, and delivering a comprehensive solution that will enable achievement of the desired business outcomes
  • Aligning solution architecture (including statement of work, schedules and other contractual documents) with final project plan, terms and conditions
  • Experience with Salesforce implementation and configuration, including workflows, validation rules, Process Builder, and security controls

What you bring to the table:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent work experience
  • 5-7 years of Solutions Architect experience, including application support, software development, and implementing CRM systems

Classy is looking for a Salesforce Administrator to become our primary 'sysadmin' for our business critical Salesforce.com processes. Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations of our Salesforce.com deployment (user configurations, profiles, role hierarchy, groups, data storage, sharing, security controls, etc.)

  • Perform system audits to verify configuration integrity and security and keep installed applications up to date

  • Manage and maintain sandbox environments – requires firm knowledge of best practices and SDLC methods and close collaboration with the development team

We want you to help us establish Classy as THE thought leader in social impact and fundraising. Help us build our dataset and leverage it to publish reports and prototype tools that support awesome organizations achieve their goals to do good.

We’re looking for a data scientist who is a self-starter and has experience driving their own data science project. Be comfortable with:

  • Using a common scripting language (e.g. Python, R) to access data sources (database, csv, json APIs, web scraping), clean, and cross-reference data.
  • Using appropriate statistical / machine-learning methods to analyze the data
  • Publishing insights (visualizations and text, internal presentations & blogging)
  • Prototyping tools to expose these insights internally and/or externally (to non-profit organizations)

You will work on a small, talented team of developers, analysts, and data scientists. We’ll look to you to help answer core questions, such as:

  • What factors predict whether a fundraising campaign is successful?
  • How do we identify our top fundraising users as early as possible?
  • What charities are most likely to succeed on our platform?
  • How much does social impact matter for fundraising?
  • Can we automatically score how good a user’s text and images are for fundraising?

Requirements

  • Graduated from a Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D program
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience preferred
  • Work experience in programming, data science, machine learning (preferably all three).

  • Specialization or Expertise in:
    • Deep neural networks (convolution neural network / CNN, recurrent networks / RNN) OR

Senior Quality Engineer

Position Description

We are looking for a talented, quality-focused engineer to help our team deliver a best of class online giving platform. Quality engineers are highly valued at Classy. As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will play a key role testing various areas of our web development stack.  From developing sophisticated test plans and coding complex scripts, to exercising APIs and validating large data sets, you will be doing so much more than standard UI test case execution.

A typical day includes reviewing incoming defects from the field and performing root cause analysis via a variety of means such as log analysis, script execution, API call replication and running database queries.  As our development team completes new features and enhancements to the Classy product suite, our QA engineers will design and execute test plans and write test scripts to exercise the full breadth of functional permutations.

Your Responsibilities

  • Developing test strategies to ensure new features are thoroughly tested.
  • Hands on involvement triaging and diagnosing system defects early in the development process.
  • Testing features/investigating failures in our payment processing infrastructure. 
  • Identification and reporting of defects through JIRA and tracking through closure.
  • Ensuring that the reliability, performance, and functionality of assigned features and functionality meet or exceed business goals.

About You

  • A degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Experience with basic automated testing platforms including Selenium
  • Ability to code scripts for requesting API data, parsing responses and asserting data integrity
  • Understanding of web development technologies including PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Ability to write scripts using Python
  • A firm understanding of API technology and testing tools (i.e. Postman)
  • Familiarity with JSON data format

Position Description:

Classy is growing, and we are hiring to meet the incredible demand of our clients! We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Solutions Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be working directly with clients from pre-sale through post-sale/implementation to address questions and present how the Classy platform will help solve their online fundraising challenges.

A successful Solutions Engineer will be able to understand the needs of our clients and map them back to the Classy product. They must be an articulate storyteller, present features and functions to clients, and be able to translate customers’ needs and goals back to Classy. 

Your day-to-day:

  • Present customized, story-driven demonstrations for web & onsite presentations
  • Work directly with customers to educate them on how their needs map back to Classy platform features/functions 
  • Serve as technical expert for questions on open APIs, Salesforce integration, and Classy product roadmap 
  • Efficiently answer RFPs, create RFP templates, and help to build out RFP library
  • Act as a liaison between our clients and the Classy product team

What you bring to the table:

  • Experience in presenting demonstrations for web & onsite presentations 
  • Ability to discover and analyze individual customer goals and challenges 
  • Ability to design innovative solutions to address prospect challenges and build solutions on the Classy platform to solve for those challenges
  • Possess a strong understanding of website construction, internet based technologies and operating systems
