POSITION DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a dynamic, high performing Enterprise Account Executive with experience specifically selling technology products and/or services into the non-profit industry. The ideal candidate has a history of exceeding sales quota, loves the thrill of the hunt, and is capable of building and growing a pipeline of business as a result of building solid relationships. S/he also has experience navigating through organizations, doing deep discovery and selling to multiple decision makers including C-Suite Executives.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Methodically qualify, build, and manage an accurate sales pipeline; maintain a high volume of “smart” activity 
  • You have a strong desire to prospect, follow up on leads, and respond to RFP’s and help define a new segment for Classy
  • Build and maintain an accurate pipeline to include, monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts presentations to senior management

Contracts Administrator

Classy is looking for Contracts Administrator to be the organizational and efficiency backbone of our Finance, Sales Operations, and Legal teams. Responsibilities will include the following:

  • Implementation, management, and improvement of Legal/Sales Ops department procedures, processes, and policies throughout the company, including contract routing and review and records retention.  
  • Act as the principal point of contact and gatekeeper between business stakeholders and Legal by assisting with drafting, editing, and negotiating various types of agreements, including NDAs and basic sales agreements.
  • Police and enforce the company’s contracting policies and procedures.
  • Route, organize, score/record attributes, and archive signed contracts.
  • Maintain, update, and revise legal forms, and assist with other corporate “housekeeping” tasks. 
  • Act as a liaison between Legal, Finance, Sales Operations, and company stakeholders (e.g., sales and account managers), and other external parties involved in the contracting process.
  • Manage the contract lifecycle by ensuring compliance with process metrics and internal SLAs, assist with issues, escalations, and obtaining necessary approvals and signatures.
  • Search for and provide existing contracts requested by business stakeholders and assist with follow-up on contract and contract-related informational requests.
  • Maintain corporate book, including tracking and filing of Board of Director meeting minutes and consents, incorporation documents, etc. 
  • Keep track of insurance policies, including renewal dates and notice periods.
  • Assist with compliance, due diligence, and legal support.
  • Provide, arrange, and facilitate formal and informal education and training for staff concerning the contract process in coordination with or at the direction of Legal.
  • Manage the company’s intellectual property filings.
  • Incorporate vision, forward looking focus, best practices and project management concepts into the contracts administration processes and procedures.  
  • Manage and coordinate administrative functions within the department.
  • Could also be asked to assist with, among other matters, including various corporate governance matters, policies, and procedures drafting; M&A diligence and other transactional support; and/or litigation support.
  • Contribute to other Legal, Finance, and Sales Operations department goals and duties as needed. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a contracts administrator, corporate paralegal, or attorney.
  • Bachelors degree or higher.
  • Experience in contract drafting, negotiation, and administration.
  • Strong skills with SalesForce, Excel, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • Ability to deal effectively with all employees and external business contacts while conveying a positive, service-oriented attitude.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills. 
  • Ability to maintain complete confidentiality and discretion in business relationships and exercise sound business judgment.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize, multi-task, and cope well with change.

Position Description:

We want you to help us establish Classy as THE thought leader in social impact and fundraising. Help us build our dataset and leverage it to publish reports that support awesome organizations achieve their goals to do good.

We’re looking for a data engineer who understands that the key to great analytics and machine learning is a clean, diverse dataset, and has experience building great datasets from challenging and varied sources:

  • Accessing / querying a variety of data sources (relational databases, no-SQL databases, Salesforce, csvs, JSON APIs, web scraping).
  • Filtering and transforming such data to dedupe records and clean the individual data fields.
  • Cross-referencing data with public datasets or paid APIs, to augment the dataset.
  • Ability to use AWS tools, such as Lambda (via serverless), Cloudformation, and Redshift.

You will work on a small, talented team of web developers, data analysts, and data scientists to help build the best dataset possible to guide our business and help guide our customers in online fundraising. With this dataset, we’ll aim to answer questions such as:

  • What charities are most likely to succeed on our platform?
  • What factors predict whether a fundraising campaign is successful?
  • How do we identify top fundraising users as early as possible?
  • Can we automatically score how good a user’s text and images are for fundraising?
  • Much, much more!

You will have chances to leverage your existing skills while learning new ones, in a fast-paced startup environment. You will be among the first to work with our unique in-house dataset, to help discover new insights in how Classy can best support organizations and their supporters to do good in the world.

Who You Are:

Basic requirements:

  • 2+ years of work experience in programming, data scraping, and data querying (preferably all three).
  • Prefer individuals who have completed one or more self-led data science projects, from data aggregation to publishing text and visualizations (the more diverse the data sources, the better!).

  • Publishing insights (visualizations and text, internal presentations & blogging)

About This Role:

In this role you’ll….

  • Monitor and manage email deliverability and account reputation to drive increased email inbox placement and oversee the health of Classy’s email database
  • Manage and grow active email list, including deliverability and new ways to increase email capture
  • Plan and execute email marketing communication across all Classy business units
  • Analyze and interpret results from email marketing campaigns, share learnings with key stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in campaigns
  • Develop a rigorous testing strategy and roadmap for email marketing campaigns, including subject lines, dynamic content, creative layout, dynamic content, targeting, etc.

In this role, you will partner closely with software engineering and DevOps teams through the SDLC to provide guidance and expertise on quality for our products. In addition to manually testing new product features and releases, you will also play a vital role responding to critical customer software bugs. They are investigators with keen problem solving skills to find root cause issues, and are able to communicate effectively to triage and escalate appropriately. What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Focus on manual testing for UI across multiple formats and browsers, and potentially manual API testing.
  • Participate in software releases and sprint cycles to ensure alignment with quality standards and best practices.
  • Creating and executing test plans and test cases for manual testing of both new product features and escalated customer tickets.
  • Actively participate and contribute in reviews of requirements, design, schedules, and test plans.
  • Partner with Customer Service and Technical support to reproduce defects and create documentation.
  • Identify and report defects through JIRA and tracking through closure.
  • Manage multiple testing requests and projects simultaneously and ensure proper resolution.
  • Participate in sprint kick-offs, retrospectives, story pointing and backlog grooming meetings within a SCRUM/Agile environment

What you’ll need to be successful:

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 2+ years or manual software testing for web based solutions, ideally within eCommerce or consumer facing applications
  • Solid knowledge of applying QA best practices, techniques, and tools (i.e. test driven development)
  • Understanding of web development technologies including PHP, SQL, AJAX, HTML, CSS, JAVAScript
  • Experience with cross browser testing, including mobile browsers is highly preferred
  • Excellent grammar, proofreading, and project management skills
  • Ability to quickly learn and understand complex web products and translate functional issues concisely to the software development team

Position Description:

The Classy for Salesforce Technical Support Engineer II will become a resident product expert, specializing in the Classy for Salesforce integration. Position Description

You will use your passion and subject matter expertise of containerization, serverless infrastructure, and infrastructure as code to help drive our devops strategy in our efforts to build the most reliable and scalable platform. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive automation for containerization and infrastructure builds for microservices using tools like Terraform, AWS ECS, and Docker

  • Develop custom tools with Python and Bash

Sr. Salesforce Engineer

As part of Classy’s focus on providing innovative fundraising solutions for the nonprofit industry, we have become an official partner with Salesforce to provide seamless integration between our platform and theirs. As we continue to grow, we’re adding another Salesforce Engineer to our team to focus on API and web service integration.

In this fullstack role, you will be primary responsibility for developing a series of packages built on Force.com that integrates the Classy platform and its data with Salesforce. You will participate in software and interface projects, in addition to defining requirements for developing interfaces in a well-architected software development environment. In addition to development, you will analyze and resolve integration problems, work with cross functional teams and stakeholders to effectively communicate issues and resolutions, and ensure long term scale of our Salesforce solutions.

What you’ll work on

  • Drive new features on our core Classy for Salesforce product, as well as maintain existing code.
  • Develop and maintain our managed package listed on the AppExchange running on multiple Salesforce instances for multiple clients.
  • Continue to develop Classy for Salesforce as a platform with flexibility for multiple client side customizations.
  • Use your strong experience with Apex, javascript, and web services to design flexible, lightweight integrations.
  • Work closely with development teams to understand backend platform requirements and translate to Salesforce integration requirements.
  • Partner with Technical Support and QA to investigate and resolve customer issues, both pre-production and post go-live.
  • Understand the business well enough to align your development with company goals.
  • Create and share development best practices and standards.

What you’ll need for success

  • BS in Computer Science or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of software development experience for web based solutions, preferably SaaS
  • 3+ years of experience developing on Force.com platform, including current experience with Apex, VisualForce, and Lightning components
  • 3+ years experience utilizing Salesforce APIs  and other web services (SOAP/REST) and HTTP web callouts
  • Strong knowledge of building Salesforce applications with respect to governor limits on a multi-tenant platform
  • Experience with JavaScript, JSON and frameworks such as Angular/Backbone 
  • Strong communication skills to work directly on enterprise customer projects to provide "solutions architecture" advice
  • Comfortable with a fast paced startup environment and tight deadlines

Position Description

Classy is looking for a full-time, in-house UI/UX Designer to create elegant web experiences in conjunction with our marketing, sales, and design teams. They will collaborate with marketing strategists to execute well-designed web campaigns from concept to developer hand-off. The ideal candidate should have an eye for clean and artful design, possess superior UI/UX research skills and be able to translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and prototypes. They should have a knack for creating beautiful, intuitive, and functional digital experiences, and the knowledge to measure success.

What Your Day-to-Day Looks Like

  • Design web experiences to fulfill campaign goals and champion the Classy brand. Projects could include campaign microsites, lead generating landing pages, and maintenance of classy.org and other marketing properties.
  • Conduct usability research and testing, help to implement and measure success criteria based on marketing goals, and communicate results to the marketing and design teams.
  • Create site maps, storyboards, and wireframes to bring simplicity and user friendliness to marketing web experiences.
  • Collaborate with visual designers to bridge web experiences and promotional efforts, optimizing a person’s journey from start to finish.
  • Revisit high traffic designs, work with marketing SEO/webmaster to conduct A/B tests, and communicate results to the rest of the team
  • Prioritize and project manage your own workload while meeting critical milestones and communicating progress to proper stakeholders.
  • Build great relationships with design, development, marketing, and other teams through open, collaborative communication and a commitment to shared goals.
  • Assist visual designers and developers to bring projects to the finish line. This could include supporting dev efforts and helping to create static images, content and animations when needed.

What You Bring to the Table

  • 3+ years design experience, previous startup experience preferred
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) and Sketch. Google Analytics a plus
  • Portfolio that demonstrates results-driven design skills in web/interface design, workflow, and prototyping
  • In-depth knowledge of modern HTML/CSS, ability to deliver code-ready designs to a development team
  • Ability to conduct research, usability testing, and iteration implementing modern principles of data-driven design
  • Exceptional design skills that fully consider fact-based usability research and an established design system
  • Self-motivated independence and a drive for quality, consistency, and design excellence
