Position Description

The Account Manager is responsible for maintaining and cultivating our existing client base to ensure our customers are completely satisfied with Classy and our platform.  The ideal candidate will have experience managing a large book of business including, but not limited to, proactive engagement, relationship building, and a track record of strong retention rates.  Experience in a SaaS or similar environment is preferred.  

Your Day to Day:

  • Increase retention of clients YoY, by achieving or exceeding your renewal quota goal
  • Navigate and identify all key decision makers within each nonprofit client to drive adoption and retention, primarily through regular and proactive contact
  • Continually work towards a better understanding of client needs and how Classy can provide greater value to the organization
  • Work closely with the Customer Success team to assess common issues, track product needs and fit, and develop meaningful, professional client-facing content to retain clients
  • Overcome objections with clients regarding platform features
  • Act as an online fundraising subject matter expert for our nonprofit partners

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve or surpass your individual quota goal for retention and onboarding of clients
  • Identify at-risk clients, product and client training gaps, and escalate potential risks or challenges in order to retain client business
  • Build strong relationships with nonprofit partners by understanding their organization and helping them reach and exceed fundraising goals through the use of the Classy platform

What you bring to the table:

  • 2+ years of experience and success in account management working a large book of business, with 100+ clients
  • A proven track record of hitting and exceeding quota retention rates year over year
  • Advanced project management, account management, or customer success skills and including objection-handling and conflict management skills
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written)

We want you to help us establish Classy as THE thought leader in social impact and fundraising. Help us build our dataset, and create automated reports that support our internal teams as well as awesome organizations, to achieve their goals to do good.

We’re looking for a data analyst who understands that the key to great analytics and modeling is a clean, diverse dataset, and has experience creating reports from challenging and varied sources:

  • Writing scripted analytic reports on top of table-based data (relational databases, CSV files, spreadsheets)
  • Debugging and cleaning data, to ensure that reports are correct.
  • Writing automation to extract data into appropriate formats, for other teams to leverage.
  • Researching, identifying, and accessing third-party data sources to augment analytics.
  • Publishing internal reports / visualizations and/or blog posts on data results.

You will work on a small, talented team of web developers, data engineers, and data scientists to help build the best dataset possible to guide our business and help guide our customers in online fundraising. With this dataset, we’ll aim to answer questions such as:

  • What charities are most likely to succeed on our platform?
  • What factors predict whether a fundraising campaign is successful?
  • How do we identify top fundraising users as early as possible?
  • Can we automatically score how good a user’s text and images are for fundraising?

Position Description:

We are looking for a dynamic, high performing Enterprise Sales Executive with experience specifically selling technology products and/or services into the non-profit industry. This individual will partner with our VP of Sales to help define the enterprise market at Classy. This is a unique opportunity for a strategic thinker looking to redefine a category and think outside of the box. Additionally, this will be the third Enterprise Sales Executive to be hired on at Classy.

The ideal candidate has a history of exceeding sales quota, loves the thrill of the hunt, and is capable of building and growing a pipeline of business as a result of building solid relationships along with a strategic go-to-market strategy from the ground up. They also have experience navigating through organizations, doing deep discovery and selling to multiple decision makers including C-Suite Executives.

  • Comfortable selling to VP & C-Suite executives, navigating through multiple decision makers in complex orgs to create compelling events and secure buy-in
  • Work closely with a team of Sales Development Reps to provide strategic direction and feedback
  • Consistently overachieve your quarterly and annual sales quota and be well-compensated for doing so

What You Bring to the Table:

  • 5+ years experience in positioning and selling large ($1M+), complex software solutions
  • Knowledge and experience working within a solution-selling or consultative selling methodology
  • Experience selling/navigating a complex sale
  • Experience in both acquiring new business and cultivating existing relationships
  • Strong track record of achievement, preferably selling multiple cloud solutions
  • Technically savvy and skilled in using a CRM (preferably Salesforce) and other sales software tools

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Executive Assistant will support and work closely with three of our executive leaders, primarily within the sales organization.  S/he serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external communications and may act as a liaison between board members, senior management, and outside parties.  The Executive Assistant must be creative and enjoy working in an entrepreneurial environment.  This role requires exceptional attention to detail, organization, strong written and communication skills, and the ability to exercise good judgement.  The Executive Assistant will own projects from conception to completion and use discretion with confidential matters.  

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Own a wide range of administrative tasks for the Head of Sales, Vice President of Sales, and Vice President of Business Operations including: managing three full calendars, completing expense reports, composing confidential correspondences, and arranging travel plans

Position Description

Classy is looking for a Lead DevOps Engineer to automate and expand Classy's AWS datacenter operations. The ideal candidate has practical experience with and exposure to security best practices to achieve PCI DSS Level 1 certification. You will develop tools to manage and automate the security of Classy's production deployment. The Sales Manager will lead an Account Executive team and will be accountable for the performance of approximately 10 inside sales professionals. Position Description:

Classy seeks an experienced Manager of Product Marketing who is passionate about technology, innovation, and changing the world for good. The successful candidate must have experience working with sales and product teams to drive product adoption in a fast paced internet or online marketing company. Responsibilities:

  • Develop product positioning that differentiates Classy and its features by understanding customer needs, product roadmap, market trends, and competitive forces
  • Create messaging that fits the audience mindset/needs within that experience (e.g. website, in-product messaging, on-boarding, blog, emails, field, etc.) and maximizes the strengths of each channel or communication experience

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree
  • 7+ years professional experience on product marketing teams
  • Has demonstrated product marketing expertise in the technology sector and has the ability to contribute at strategic, operational and tactical levels
  • Track record of influencing behavior at variety of levels in the organization, including cross-functional managers

Position Description

We’re looking for an experienced Technical Product Manager who will help build an indispensable product that empowers nonprofits to accomplish their remarkable missions all-over the globe. Your Responsibilities

  • Define the product strategy and roadmap in collaboration with others on the team ensuring alignment of company objectives, product vision and customer feedback

The Vice President for the SMB segment will manage our Inside Sales Managers and will be accountable for the performance of approximately 30-40 inside sales professionals and 3 - 4 Sales Managers. The candidate should be a data driven and analytical sales leader with a proven track record of managing an inside sales teams in a SaaS environment. S/he will be driven by meeting revenue, operational and strategic goals, as well as the professional growth, development and success of their team members. The VP of SMB will spend the majority of time working with both managers and salespeople to coach, counsel, and mentor them in all aspects of sales and sales management effectiveness. They will also provide timely and practical feedback to Senior Leadership for new and interesting go to market strategies.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Overseeing the sales execution strategies and tactics focused on quota attainment by the inside sales teams. This includes best practices in prospecting, managing and closing opportunities, and the skills related to presenting and positioning Classy as an industry leader.
  • Successfully managing managers with a general team size of 9 Account Executives operating in an inside sales environment.
  • “Leading from the front”:  player-coach by consistently demonstrating, coaching and reinforcing the value proposition and consultative sales process; must be able to lead through motivation and positive reinforcement of desired behaviors while leveraging key metrics and coaching observations.
  • Build a world-class consultative sales team: Invest and develop the existing sales team while simultaneously attracting top sales talent to Classy
  • Scale with rigor: Continuously increase the effectiveness of our team, recognizing opportunities for creating new systems, structures, and processes
  • Work cross-functionally: Flow easily across multiple teams to ensure internal messaging alignment, operational coordination and evangelization of partner strategy; collaborate with marketing to ensure the execution of programs and events to drive channel leads, pipeline and deal progression
  • Track, measure and report-out on effectiveness against targets and adjust programs and strategies as necessary
  • Collaborate with Customer Success teams to ensure all teams are driving complementary results to maximize performance.
