Position Description:

The Account Manager is responsible for maintaining and cultivating our existing client base to ensure our customers are completely satisfied with Classy and our platform.  The ideal candidate will have experience managing a large book of business including, but not limited to, proactive engagement, relationship building, and a track record of strong retention rates.  Experience in a SaaS or similar environment is preferred.  

Your Day to Day:

  • Increase retention of clients YoY, by achieving or exceeding your renewal quota goal
  • Navigate and identify all key decision makers within each nonprofit client to drive adoption and retention, primarily through regular and proactive contact
  • Continually work towards a better understanding of client needs and how Classy can provide greater value to the organization
  • Work closely with the Customer Success team to assess common issues, track product needs and fit, and develop meaningful, professional client-facing content to retain clients
  • Overcome objections with clients regarding platform features
  • Act as an online fundraising subject matter expert for our nonprofit partners

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve or surpass your individual quota goal for retention and onboarding of clients
  • Identify at-risk clients, product and client training gaps, and escalate potential risks or challenges in order to retain client business
  • Build strong relationships with nonprofit partners by understanding their organization and helping them reach and exceed fundraising goals through the use of the Classy platform
  • Provide excellent customer service and client satisfaction to ensure our clients continue to use the platform year over year
  • Provide “best practice” assistance to drive fundraising success for existing and future campaigns
  • Enable nonprofits to use the Classy platform to its full capabilities by finding new areas of opportunity, encouraging campaigns and events, and presenting market-specific content to our partners

What you bring to the table:

  • 2+ years of experience and success in account management working a large book of business, with 100+ clients
  • 2+ years of experience in nonprofit development or fundraising, with use of online fundraising software to achieve revenue goals
  • A proven track record of hitting and exceeding retention rates or fundraising goals year over year
  • Advanced project management, account management, or customer success skills and including objection-handling and conflict management skills
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
  • Thrive in an environment where you can be resourceful, adapt, and respond quickly to change
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and multitask in a deadline-driven environment

Position description:

We want you to help us establish Classy as THE thought leader in social impact and fundraising. Help us build our dataset and leverage it to publish reports and prototype tools that support awesome organizations achieve their goals to do good.

We’re looking for a data scientist who is a self-starter and has experience driving their own data science project. Be comfortable with:

  • Using a common scripting language (e.g. Python, R) to access data sources (database, csv, json APIs, web scraping), clean, and cross-reference data.
  • Using appropriate statistical / machine-learning methods to analyze the data
  • Publishing insights (visualizations and text, internal presentations & blogging)
  • Prototyping tools to expose these insights internally and/or externally (to non-profit organizations)

You will work on a small, talented team of developers, analysts, and data scientists. We’ll look to you to help answer core questions, such as:

  • What factors predict whether a fundraising campaign is successful?
  • How do we identify our top fundraising users as early as possible?
  • What charities are most likely to succeed on our platform?
  • How much does social impact matter for fundraising?
  • Can we automatically score how good a user’s text and images are for fundraising?
  • Much, much more!

You will have chances to learn new skills, give and receive feedback on projects, work with our unique in-house dataset, and discover new insights in how Classy can best support organizations and the individuals who support them, to do good in the world.

Requirements

  • Graduated from a Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D program
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience preferred
  • Work experience in programming, data science, machine learning (preferably all three).
  • Completion of one or more self-led data science projects (the more diverse the data sources, the better!)
  • Specialization or Expertise in:
    • Deep neural networks (convolution neural network / CNN, recurrent networks / RNN) OR
    • Natural Language Processing (NLP), including sentiment analysis, part of speech tagging (POS)

Position Description:

We are on a search for a full-time Digital Marketing Associate who is eager to develop into a digital marketing ninja. As the developing expert on the digital marketing team, you’ll be responsible for managing and developing Classy’s digital marketing efforts and contribute to supporting the future growth of the company’s digital marketing revenue requirements. This role will report to the Digital Marketing Manager.

Your main goal? Identify scalable opportunities, deliver top of the funnel traffic and optimize against yield. You will often be required to communicate our progress through data, charts/analysis and oral presentations. This critical role will help with the execution and implementation of our digital strategy and will be responsible for overseeing and reporting on specific digital marketing campaigns from end-to-end including paid social and retargeting campaigns.

Your Day-to-Day:

We're a fast-paced, agile and rapidly growing start-up. In other words, you will wear a lot of hats and need to remain flexible. Still interested? Great, then you’ll want to know the things you’ll likely be responsible for include:

  • Support in the day-to-day digital planning and execution of paid campaigns across web, social, search, display and email marketing
  • Implement digital marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and lead acquisition through paid initiatives.
  • Deliver digital campaigns in full and against desired success metrics
  • Identify new paid traffic strategies while optimizing existing ones

  • Build and manage digital metrics and ROI measurements: create dashboard, report on results, and regularly provide recommendations for improvements and optimizations
  • Create, curate and distribute both content created for general marketing needs as well as any digital specific content
  • Monitor industry trends to keep the company at the forefront of developments in digital marketing

What You Must Bring to the Table:

The Digital Marketing Associate ideally has a strong digital background to draw from and help bring a focused digital marketing expertise to the marketing team. Specific skills and qualifications may include:

  • 1-2 years of experience in digital marketing or 2-4 years of marketing experience with campaign management background
  • Experience with one or more of the following: social media advertising, SEO/SEM, display advertising, retargeting, mobile marketing
  • Strong content marketing background with a solid understanding of leveraging digital channels to serve as content distribution channels
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools, Google Analytics preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field is preferred
  • Hubspot and Salesforce experience a plus

Position Description:

We are looking for a dynamic, high performing Enterprise Account Executive with experience specifically selling technology products and/or services into the non-profit industry. This individual will partner with our VP of Sales to help define the enterprise market at Classy. This is a unique opportunity for a strategic thinker looking to redefine a category and think outside of the box. Additionally, this will be the third Enterprise Sales Executive to be hired on at Classy.

The ideal candidate has a history of exceeding sales quota, loves the thrill of the hunt, and is capable of building and growing a pipeline of business as a result of building solid relationships along with a strategic go-to-market strategy from the ground up. They also have experience navigating through organizations, doing deep discovery and selling to multiple decision makers including C-Suite Executives.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • 5+ years experience in positioning and selling large ($1M+), complex software solutions
  • Knowledge and experience working within a solution-selling or consultative selling methodology
  • Experience selling/navigating a complex sale
  • Experience in both acquiring new business and cultivating existing relationships
  • Strong track record of achievement, preferably selling multiple cloud solutions
  • Technically savvy and skilled in using a CRM (preferably Salesforce) and other sales software tools

Responsibilities:

Partner Marketing Focus:

  • Work with industry partners to build strong joint marketing value propositions that fit within each company’s messaging and GTM strategies.
  • Build out our relationship with our primary strategic partner, Salesforce, in conjunction with the Channel Sales AE to drive leads and pipeline.
  • Develop strategies to implement bigger and better co-marketing campaigns with industry partners (ie. partner blogs, webinars, ebooks, customer stories, social media, etc.).
  • Work closely with the VP of Marketing to execute our vision on strategic initiatives.
  • Develop a robust marketing collateral and sales enablement toolkit to support the onboarding and preservation of our channel partners.
  • Work cross functionally with the event marketing team to drive partner engagement at in-person events through sponsorship, content, and promotion.

Product Marketing Focus:

  • Create world class content that supports the complete sales and marketing funnel, working in concert with our segment, product, and brand/content marketing teams.
  • Work cross-functionally with the rest of the marketing team along with the design, sales and operation teams to include critical sales enablement collateral into the sales process.
  • Co-own the content on Classy.org ensuring that Classy’s core features and products are appropriately represented on the site and serve as optimized entry points for possible sales qualified leads.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • 5+ years of marketing experience with 2+ years focused on partner marketing in the high-tech industry (preferably SaaS).
  • Experience in engaging and building win-win relationships with partners is a must.
  • Team player with experience coordinating across the marketing team to embed joint partner solutions into the company’s global marketing campaigns.
  • Proven track record of driving customer value and expanding brand presence through partnerships.
  • Excellent project/program management skills.
  • Analytical, with the ability to capture and share key data and insights and use data to drive key marketing strategies and decisions.

We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager who will be responsible for managing implementation projects for our large-scale enterprise accounts. You will complete complicated implementations with aggressive timeframes and a high level of quality. Our team is building a generalized payment platform as a set of APIs and UI supporting non-profit organizations. Responsibilities

Requirements 

  • BS in Computer Science or related field preferred

Our engineering team is the perfect size: small, 45-person (and growing!) team where everyone has big ownership. Our college graduates lead major projects starting in year one. We’re looking for an experienced Solutions Architect who will play a critical client-facing role, interpreting and translating client requirements into solutions that can be completed from Classy’s standard set of offerings, for our large-scale enterprise accounts. Your responsibilities:

  • Serve as an Enterprise Solution Architect through the entire customer engagement pre-sale through implementation
  • Support sales in the evaluation of prospects, reviewing technical requirements, developing RFP’s, Statement of Work and supporting technical sales calls
  • Understand and translate client requirements into standard solution offering, leveraging standard process methods and deliverables
  • Design the system architecture and integration approach, identifying gaps between current and desired end-states, and delivering a comprehensive solution that will enable achievement of the desired business outcomes
  • Aligning solution architecture (including statement of work, schedules and other contractual documents) with final project plan, terms and conditions
  • Experience with Salesforce implementation and configuration, including workflows, validation rules, Process Builder, and security controls
  • Build strong relationships with all project stakeholders internal and external
  • Maintain familiarity with SaaS market dynamics, in particular contemporary technologies and processes

What you bring to the table:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent work experience
  • 5-7 years of Solution Architecture experience, including application support, software development, and implementing CRM systems

Classy is seeking a highly qualified VP of Enterprise Professional Services to perform a leadership role in managing the implementation projects of our enterprise software solution. The VP of Enterprise Professional Services will be responsible for defining the strategic direction of the services team, manage the implementation team and ensure customer success of Enterprise implementations.   

Your responsibilities:

  • Lead and grow the client implementation service delivery team providing management and oversight of implementation projects.  
  • Manage a portfolio of platform implementation projects providing onboarding, integration, education and documentation to drive long term customer success & value.
  • Provide technical and functional expertise to customers during the project implementation process.  Evaluate external data systems, design requirements and success criteria to provide best practice recommendations to successfully implement Classy.
  • Responsible for department management including hiring, training, performance management and career development.
  • Develop strong relationships with key customers, partners and 3rd party vendors.
  • Develop and/or maintain department procedures, metrics and key performance indicators to measure operations, improvement targets and support changing business requirements.
  • Partner with the Sales team and assist in project pre-qualification and scoping to ensure that high quality deals are sold that will lead to customer success. Evaluate the roadmap for a customer’s long-term vision, to identify solutions for each client's unique needs.
  • Provide leadership with regular project updates serving as a critical advisor to the team as an Implementation leader.  Set the strategic direction for the implementation and professional services team. Maintain reporting on capacity, amount of implementation work, and future outlook in order to advise strategic direction setting.

What you bring to the table:

  • At least 8 years of experience demonstrating management and leadership experience, preferably in a SaaS software professional services environment; Strong operational management, project management, consulting, technology and process improvement skills; strong communication/presentation and negotiation skills.
