Position Description:

We are looking for a passionate, high-performing salesperson with experience selling technology products and/or services. The ideal candidate has a history of exceeding sales quota, loves the thrill of the hunt, and is capable of building and growing a pipeline of business as a result of outbound prospecting and high activity metrics. What Your Day-to-Day Looks Like:

  • Methodically qualify, build, and manage an accurate sales pipeline; maintain a high volume of activity including outbound calls, emails, and social selling.
  • Skillfully deliver web based presentations, leveraging strong product knowledge and inside sales best practices.
  • Comfortably sell to VP & C-Suite executives and navigate through multiple decision makers to create compelling events and secure all approvals.

What You Bring to the Table:

Position Description:

We're currently looking for a detail-oriented Intern with a positive and professional attitude to support the Accounting team for 20 hours/week. This internship will run until early summer 2017 and is out of our downtown San Diego office. We are not open to remote candidates.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the month-end close process, including rolling forward journal entries and supporting work paper reconciliations for various balance sheet and expense accounts
  • Responsible for various activities in the accounts payable/receivable function
  • Assisting with the creation and maintenance of process documentation

Requirements:

  • Current undergraduate, pursuing a degree in Accounting or Finance; 3.5+ GPA

Position Description

The Account Manager is responsible for maintaining and cultivating our existing client base to ensure our customers are completely satisfied with Classy and our platform.  The ideal candidate will have experience managing a large book of business including, but not limited to, proactive engagement, relationship building, and a track record of strong retention rates.  Experience in a SaaS or similar environment is preferred.

  • Increase retention of clients YoY, by achieving or exceeding your renewal quota goal
  • Navigate and identify all key decision makers within each nonprofit client to drive adoption and retention, primarily through regular and proactive contact
  • Continually work towards a better understanding of client needs and how Classy can provide greater value to the organization
  • Work closely with the Customer Success team to assess common issues, track product needs and fit, and develop meaningful, professional client-facing content to retain clients
  • Overcome objections with clients regarding platform features
  • Act as an online fundraising subject matter expert for our nonprofit partners

Responsibilities:

What you bring to the table:

  • 2+ years of experience and success in account management working a large book of business, with 100+ clients

You will work on a small, talented team of web developers, data engineers, and data scientists to help build the best dataset possible to guide our business and help guide our customers in online fundraising. With this dataset, we’ll aim to answer questions such as:

  • What charities are most likely to succeed on our platform?
  • What factors predict whether a fundraising campaign is successful?
  • How do we identify top fundraising users as early as possible?

  • Filtering and transforming such data to dedupe records and clean the individual data fields.
  • Cross-referencing data with public datasets or paid APIs, to augment the dataset.
  • Ability to use AWS tools, such as Lambda (via serverless), Cloudformation, and Redshift.

You will work on a small, talented team of web developers, data analysts, and data scientists to help build the best dataset possible to guide our business and help guide our customers in online fundraising. With this dataset, we’ll aim to answer questions such as:

Position Description:

We are looking for a dynamic, high performing Enterprise Sales Executive with experience specifically selling technology products and/or services into the non-profit industry. This individual will partner with our head of sales and CEO to define the enterprise market at Classy. Your day-to-day:

  • Methodically qualify, build, and manage an accurate sales pipeline; maintain a high volume of “smart” activity 
  • You have a strong desire to prospect, follow up on leads, and respond to RFP’s and help define a new segment for Classy
  • Build and maintain an accurate pipeline to include, monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts presentations to senior management

  • Consistently overachieve your quarterly and annual sales quota and be well-compensated for doing so

What You Bring to the Table:

  • 5+ years experience in positioning and selling large ($1M+), complex software solutions
  • Knowledge and experience working within a solution-selling or consultative selling methodology
  • Experience selling/navigating a complex sale
  • Experience in both acquiring new business and cultivating existing relationships
  • Strong track record of achievement, preferably selling multiple cloud solutions

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Executive Assistant will support and work closely with three of our executive leaders, primarily within the sales organization.  S/he serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external communications and may act as a liaison between board members, senior management, and outside parties.  The Executive Assistant must be creative and enjoy working in an entrepreneurial environment.  This role requires exceptional attention to detail, organization, strong written and communication skills, and the ability to exercise good judgement.  The Executive Assistant will own projects from conception to completion and use discretion with confidential matters.  

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Own a wide range of administrative tasks for the Head of Sales, Vice President of Sales, and Vice President of Business Operations including: managing three full calendars, completing expense reports, composing confidential correspondences, and arranging travel plans
  • Manage complicated agendas including preparations for meetings and travel
  • Act as a “gatekeeper” for outside correspondence/requests
  • Communicate with stakeholders including board members and clients on Executives’ behalves
  • Work closely with executive team to keep them apprised of upcoming commitments and responsibilities

REQUIREMENTS:

The Head of Sales for the SMB segment will manage our Inside Sales Managers and will be accountable for the performance of approximately 30-40 inside sales professionals and 3 - 4 Sales Managers. The candidate should be a data driven and analytical sales leader with a proven track record of managing an inside sales teams in a SaaS environment. S/he will be driven by meeting revenue, operational and strategic goals, as well as the professional growth, development and success of their team members. The Head of Sales will spend the majority of time working with both managers and salespeople to coach, counsel, and mentor them in all aspects of sales and sales management effectiveness. They will also provide timely and practical feedback to Senior Leadership for new and interesting go to market strategies.

  • Overseeing the sales execution strategies and tactics focused on quota attainment by the inside sales teams. This includes best practices in prospecting, managing and closing opportunities, and the skills related to presenting and positioning Classy as an industry leader.
  • Successfully managing managers with a general team size of 9 Account Executives operating in an inside sales environment.

  • Build a world-class consultative sales team: Invest and develop the existing sales team while simultaneously attracting top sales talent to Classy

Classy is looking for a Lead DevOps Engineer to automate and expand Classy's AWS datacenter operations. The ideal candidate has practical experience with and exposure to security best practices to achieve PCI DSS Level 1 certification. You will develop tools to manage and automate the security of Classy's production deployment. The Sales Manager will lead an Account Executive team and will be accountable for the performance of approximately 10 inside sales professionals. Sales Operations Associate Overview

The primary role of the Sales Operations Associate will be driving efficiencies across the sales team to ensure all sales units are functioning as effectively as possible. You will work directly with sales leadership to identify areas for improvement and help put initiatives in place to address these and drive sustained performance across the sales team. Position Description:

Classy seeks an experienced Manager of Product Marketing who is passionate about technology, innovation, and changing the world for good. The successful candidate must have experience working with sales and product teams to drive product adoption in a fast paced internet or online marketing company. Classy’s Sr. Manager, Product Marketing will be to help Classy position and market its core product and platform. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this role will develop product messaging, lead product launches, and activate our brand across multiple marketing channels.

The successful candidate will have experience working with sales and cross-functional teams to drive product adoption in a fast-paced company. This is a full-time position based in San Diego, CA.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop product positioning that differentiates Classy and its features by understanding customer needs, product roadmap, market trends, and competitive forces
  • Create messaging that fits the audience mindset/needs within that experience (e.g. website, in-product messaging, on-boarding, blog, emails, field, etc.) and maximizes the strengths of each channel or communication experience
  • Plan and execute product/feature launches & feature enhancements across cross-functional teams (spanning Product, Marketing, Support, Service, Sales) and related sales enablement
  • Work with Product Management to establish a continuous feedback loop to include market trends, customer needs, and competitive factors

  • Partner closely with the Sales Training team lead to support in the design in and of materials that furthers product knowledge within the Sales organization

  • Distill and surface market feedback to product teams for new and existing advertising products

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree
  • 7+ years professional experience on product marketing teams
  • Has demonstrated product marketing expertise in the technology sector and has the ability to contribute at strategic, operational and tactical levels
  • Track record of influencing behavior at variety of levels in the organization, including cross-functional managers

The Sr. PR & Communications Manager is a new position on the marketing team designed to improve our current communications (internally and externally) and define new possibilities. The position has three areas of focus: 1) Improve the consistency of communications from the leadership team to the organization as it relates to the business/product; 2) Reduce the time that the CEO invests in producing communications; 3) Build key media relations to further the corporate and product narrative.

The Sr. PR & Communications Manager reports to the Director of Marketing. This position is full time and located in San Diego, CA but we are open to considering someone in a remote role.

Responsibilities:

Internal

  • Author regular communications such as group updates, monthly goals recaps, orientation meetings, and all-hands presentations
  • Work with leadership in marketing and our in-house creative department to draft strategic messaging for use with our Sales teams, for our clients, and more
  • Author and project-manage designers to produce significant ad hoc presentations such as Sales Conference presentations, client presentations, and industry speeches
  • Develop communication strategy for company including templates and style guides
  • Create quantifiable ways to measure the impact of communications on key business metrics (and then act on them)

External

  • Develop and maintain media archives
  • Help develop complementary visuals and videos for internal and external communications

Minimum Qualifications:

About You

  • BS in Computer Science and 2+ years experience
  • Strong focus on data modeling, design patterns, debugging, performance and scalability
  • Experience with RESTful HTTP/JSON API development for high volume sites
  • Experience using and developing SDKs to APIs
  • Experience building large-scale server applications with Node.js or PHP, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis
  • Experience with AWS services including S3, CloudFront, SNS, SQS, and Lambda
  • Knowledge of API standards such as OAuth2, JSONP, HTTP caching & rate limiting, and more
  • Comfortable with a fast paced startup environment and tight deadlines
  • A passion for making this world a better place

Position Description

We’re looking for an experienced Technical Product Manager who will help build an indispensable product that empowers nonprofits to accomplish their remarkable missions all-over the globe. You’re the type of person who isn’t afraid to take up the gauntlet and strives to thrill customers with features that help them solve the worlds social problems. You will be a critical player in shipping new features from the software side of our products.

Your Responsibilities

  • Define the product strategy and roadmap in collaboration with others on the team ensuring alignment of company objectives, product vision and customer feedback
  • Create API product specs, job stories, and prototypes in collaboration with engineering or independently when necessary
  • Foster ongoing relationships and communications internally and externally
  • Build a strong understanding of our customers and their goals/challenges to create a product strategy
  • Identify technical solutions for customers
  • Organize releases, release dates and sprints with engineering leaders while communicating roadmap and product launches to the rest of Classy
  • Define and analyze metrics that inform product development and continuous optimization to increase adoption and engagement
  • Develop and communicate priorities across the company by collaborating closely with engineering
  • Be the go-to source of knowledge for your product responsibilities

About You

  • BS in Computer Science or related field preferred
  • 3+ years of Product Management experience
  • Software development background
  • Strong understanding of defining and creating product APIs
  • Experience in several implementations connecting various SaaS applications, with specific knowledge integrating Salesforce
  • Passion and understanding for product and interaction design
  • Experience working in an agile environment
  • Technically minded and able to communicate clearly with developers both internally and externally
  • Strong focus on user experiences

Bonus

  • Experience with nonprofits, fundraising and event management
  • Strong understanding of SaaS business model
  • Understanding of Salesforce and JIRA
