The social impact sector spent months preparing and promoting #GivingTuesday 2015. In the end, nonprofits raised more than $116.7 million and the hard work was well worth it. The giving day also had a massive presence on social media, with 1.3 million mentions that garnered 114 billion impressions on Twitter alone.
Classy’s nonprofit partners went above and beyond, raising five times as much as last year. We perused our data and gathered the most exciting stats and insights from #GivingTuesday 2015. We are also excited to recognize our #GivingTuesday fundraising all-stars, the ten nonprofit organizations that raised the most on the Classy platform. They led our community to a record-setting global day of giving.
